DEFINITIONS

Achievement Levels -- These are ranks determined by meeting specific criteria. Commissions are awarded according to Achievement Level Ranking.

Active Member -- An Active Member is one who purchases $50 personal volume (PV) or more in one month within a 12-month period.

Commissionable Products -- These are products on which commissions are paid.

Commissionable Volume (CV) is a variable percentage per dollar on which Distributors are paid. All commissions and bonuses are based on the company's CV.

CV Scale -- This is a changing percentage used to determine how much commission is paid on each dollar to the Distributor. All commissions and bonuses are based on a Commissionable Volume scale. Using a CV scale stabilizes price increases and maintains a 50% payout.

Generation -- The first generation begins at level one and continues through the first Premier Master Star Executive (or above) until a second Premier Master Star Executive (or above) is reached in the same leg. The first generation ends at this point and does not include the second Premier Master Star Executive.

The second generation begins with the second Premier Master Star Executive (or above) and continues until a third Premier Master Star Executive (or above) is reached in the same leg. The second generation ends at this point and does not include the third Premier Master Star Executive. Further generations are defined in the same manner.

Group Volume (GV) -- The amount of commissionable product purchased by you and each leg of your sales organization each month.

Levels -- When a new person is enrolled in Young Living, he/she is sponsored under a Distributor. This new Member, placed directly under the existing Distributor, is classified as a First Level Member.

Member -- a Distributor or Preferred Customer who buys directly from Young Living Essential Oils.

Month End -- Month End is the cutoff date for processing phone, fax, and postal orders. The cutoff is Midnight Mountain Time on the last business day of the month. To be included in commissions for a month, mailed-in orders must be received by the last business day of that month.

Personal Volume (PV) -- This is the dollar amount of commissionable product volume you personally purchase from the company.

Referring Member -- is a Member who refers a new Member to Young Living and has the responsibility of assigning Sponsor.

Sponsor -- is the Member under whom a new Member is placed. Unless specified otherwise, the Sponsor is the Referring Member.

DYNAMIC COMPRESSION

Each qualified Distributor ($50 and up in sales volume) in a Young Living Organization counts as a level. All unqualified Distributor volume rolls up to the next qualified Distributor as if they were on the same level. The 8% commission paid on the qualified Distributor plus all in-between levels of Distributors who do not qualify.
